Get Meltdown from its own store page
The official choices are Meltdown on the App Store and Meltdown on Google Play. Look for RobTop as the developer or publisher. The Apple listing marks the app Free, and Google Play says it contains ads. Read the device compatibility and privacy details before installing.
Meltdown is not a patch for the paid game. Its store description lists its own campaign, unique icons and colors, and Practice Mode. Do not treat a Meltdown version number as the current version of the main Geometry Dash app or assume that installing it unlocks the paid editor.
Choose one of three useful session goals
| Goal | How to approach it |
|---|---|
| Understand a level | Observe where the movement changes and name the action needed. |
| Connect a difficult section | Practice its approach, the obstacle and the exit together. |
| Pursue a displayed unlock | Read its condition in the app before selecting your target. |
Keep the goal specific. “Learn the next transition” is easier to evaluate than “get much better.” When repeating a section, vary one deliberate action at a time. If you change your timing, input device and settings together, you will have less information about why the next run succeeds or fails.
Finish with a connected run and a next step
Practice Mode can help you investigate a sequence, while a normal attempt asks you to connect it into a longer run. Alternate those tasks deliberately. If you are no longer learning anything from a series of failures, pause and write down the exact point you want to revisit.
The practice planner can reserve time for repeated attempts and brief reviews. Enter your own duration estimates: the game's percentage display is not a duration measurement, and this site has no automatic access to your runs.
For another compact campaign, see SubZero. For a free introduction with a different content selection, compare Lite; for community play, compare World. If the next feature you want is the full game or its creation tools, use the official store directory.
